Composition:
Active substance: ambazone;
1 pressed lozenge contains 10 mg of ambazone monohydrate;
Excipients: sucrose, lactose monohydrate, cocoa, povidone K-30, stearic acid, vanillin.
Dosage form:
Pressed lozenges.
Basic physicochemical properties:
Brown, uncoated, pressed lozenges of cylindrical shape with undamaged edges, flat and with a pigmented surface.
Pharmacotherapeutic group:
Agents used for throat diseases. Antiseptics. Ambazone.
Indications:
Symptomatic treatment of infections of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and nasopharynx: gingivitis, stomatitis, tonsillitis, angina, pharyngitis. Prevention of infectious complications after tonsillectomy and tooth extraction.
